Thank You From Your CERT Team

Thank you to all of the neighbors and volunteers who came out to the Tot Lot last Saturday to check out our Emergency Response Container. We had quite a good showing and a great number of our neighbors showed an interest in volunteering and being more active in our community.

Monterey CERT leads the nation as having one of the most advanced emergency response communities in the nation. With solar panels, base radios around the peninsula and a robust call-out system, our community is more prepared than most in the event of an emergency. Our emergency response container for Del Monte Beach is still fairly new and is still in need of medical supplies, radios, tools, hardware and safety items. Many of you had asked about how to make donations to support our neighborhood container. CERV (Community Emergency Response Volunteers) is a 501c3 Non-Profit based out of our neighborhood. They are set up to accept donations and can have them earmarked to support our neighborhood container.

If you’d like to make a donation to support your community please do so at

At the bottom of the home page is a “donate” button. Checks can also be made out to CERV of the Monterey Peninsula and mailed to:

Any amount helps!
